Qualification Criteria for Punjab Police Constable Exam 2023
- 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/ University.
- In the case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation.
- Apart from the above qualifications mentioned, all candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in the Punjabi language specified by the Punjab Government.
Age Limit for Punjab Police Constable Exam 2023
- As per the notification given by Punjab Police, the age limits (as of 01.01.2023) required for the post of Constable in the District Police Cadre are as follows:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Relaxation in the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to various reserved categories will be applicable as per Punjab Government norms.
Selection Process for Punjab Police Constable Exam 2023
- Stage-I consists of two Computer Based, Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type Papers viz. Paper-I and Paper-II, of which Paper-II shall be qualifying in nature.
- Stage II: It consists of Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and a Physical Screening Test (PST). Both the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.
- Stage-III: It consists of Document Scrutiny.
